David Howell, The Kiss Wave Pattern Earrings

Born in 1862, Austrian painter Gustav Klimt became known for the highly decorative style and erotic nature of his works. "I have never painted a self-portrait. I am less interested in myself as a subject for painting than I am in other people, above all women." These earrings are inspired by a detail in the painting "The Kiss" done in 1908.
