David Howell - Objet Trouve Green Earrings
Creating art from found objects goes back to Pablo Picasso and his pasting of printed material onto a 1912 canvas. In this piece, Dr. Albert Barnes, the collector, used a hinge, bucket handle, and the head of a garden hoe to comment on a painting by Joan Miro. Dr. Barnes' wit inspired us to create this earring.
Finish: Solid brass, electro-plated with non-tarnishing matte silver finish, glass beads, ear wires are hypo-allergenic
