David Howell - Atom Earrings

Atoms are too small to see. Instead, atoms are represented by having a center nucleus (composed of neutrons and protons) with electrons zooming around it. This model was first proposed by Niels Bohr and Ernest Rutherford in 1913 and has become the symbol of the atom.
